Sex and intimacy are two very different things..I suppose I’ll address both. When I feel comfortable and intimate with someone, I trust them, I’m unafraid to speak out about my biggest fears, you have a bond where you know even if you can’t be with them every moment (or having sex as much as either if you would like), you know they still care for you when you land even more than when you hadn’t gone.
Also, it’s little things. Sharing with each other their feelings, a feeling of closeness, long kisses [even in your gross Christmas sweater ans sweatpants), snuggling (YOU SHUT UP I LOVE TO SNUGGLE). :)
Another big one is holding hands. Especially in public. The other person is proud to be with you.
All of this….more often that not, leads to sex…..

I really do love a bit of chase, but I really love that moment when the feelings and desire for the other person becomes palpable, and you just meet eyes and they’re feeling the same way. I also like the whole being undressed and undressing, because the anticipation is just exploding. Beyond that, I feel like most people, including myself, would say that being in the throws of it all and the passion….phhhhew. What isn”t there to love? Plus, for me, orgasm is not the end goal of an encounter. I like to please, but I think too much pressure it put on those few seconds. That always freaks guys out, but it’s like, “Dude, would I want you so much and want to do this with you all the time if I didn’t enjoy basically second of it?” Just be in the moment as like the song says love the one you’re with (unless there are serious issues), but if it’s little things, know these spiritual connections don’t come very often, so it’s worth working on.
